FamilyTree365 – Day Two September 2, 2016

For day 2 of 365 days of Family Tree I decided to go with my oldest known ancestor in the town of Ruhrort-Duisburg, Germany – One of my 8th great grandfathers Michel Segal/Levy. Michel was born in the early 1600’s when Jews were allowed to return to the town after having been expelled in the 1300’s. His family was one of the first two Jewish families in Ruhrort-Duisburg.
