Melvin Schwartz was my grandfather Harry Rothstein’s second cousin. He was born in March of 1919 to Grace/Golde/Gusse Rothstein and Joseph Schwartz. In 1941 he enlisted in the army and according to records I found on ancestry he was a POW for some time. He was married to a woman named Grace Bonwit and they had a son Steven who is a lawyer in Georgia. I am still waiting to hear back from him though to fill in some gaps I have…
